A nice place in Old Jaffa

Old Jaffa is an ancient port city at south of Tel Aviv (Israel), believed to be one of the oldest cities in the world, being more than 4000 years old. There you can appreciate several places, walking through its stone streets and find old buildings, squares, churches, art galleries and museums, besides a good view to the Mediterraneum. But that's not enough. You can also find interesting and peculiar places to relax and enjoy this environment with friends and cool people.
Was there, in this amazing place that Shmuel Yehezkiel (aka Samuca) since December 2005, chose to transform a place that was already an old fish house in one of the best coffee bars in Israel: the Mazal Arieh 5. Lover of good music, above all the best of rock'n roll and brazilian popular music, Shmuel has one of the largest CD's and DVD's collections of classical and contemporary rock and samba songs in the country and brought it to his bar, where he also likes to stay preparing and offering their salads and refined drinks. He became an interesting and nice charachter in Old Jaffa by bringing to this place a little more happiness and spontaneity.

Since June 2008, he and Nilson Muniz (brazilian performer) together with André Golovaty and Daniel Ring (brazilian musicians), created the event SambadoBom, a brazilian party with the best of classical samba and bossa nova, as well as cool and original songs in a live performance, where most of the brazilian comunity in Israel got used to come and have fun together, dancing and enjoying. SambadoBom happens all friday evenings and makes big success amongst the brazilian comunity, as it didn't happen for the last 20 years. People from the whole of Israel come to appreciate the place and the good sambas, getting a nice vibe in the weekend. The event is free and Mazal Arieh 5 has a large diversity of cool drinks with fair prices.

If you are looking for a nice time in Old Jaffa, that's your best option. Come to know Mazal Arieh 5 coffe bar!!! You are welcome!!!
